Today I veer off the beaten path to honor my maternal grandmother, Amy Griffin Lowe (1898-1994), who would have been 115 years old today. She was known by all as Ma (pronounced Mar) or Mama.
Mama was the only grandparent I knew growing up. Since I was the youngest of her grandchildren, we shared special times together. I look forward to further documenting her life in future posts.

Oh, Evan! I really do miss her! I was just talking the other day about her to the kids. I met other of my great-grandparents, but she is the one that I really got to know and have in my life. It’s a blessing when you can have a great-grandparent in your life for almost 22 years. I need you to send me those first two pics. I don’t have those.
