On April 24, 1864, in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Adolphus married Alicia Ann Roberts (1845-1918) from Green Turtle Cay, Abaco. She is the daughter of William Roberts (1816-1871) and Matilda Roberts (1823-1898).

The family moved to Key West around 1890.
Adolphus was manager of the S. S. Lowe docks and fleet of sponge and freight boats. He later joined his son in the furniture and jewelry business. He also manufactured flavoring syrups.

He was always ready to help those in need. He was a good man and a good citizen. He was always interested in the welfare of the community and did everything he could to promote its best interests.
Adolphus Curry passed away April 9, 1927 (age 83) in Key West, Florida. Adolphus is a grandson of Jacobs Adam and Wyannie Malone. He is my 2nd great grand uncle.
