Florence Lowe was born on May 2, 1916, in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco to William Howard Lowe (1892-1939) and Rosetta Euphemia Russell (1894-1924).

Her siblings include Dorothy Euphemia (1912), Lorrie (1918), Myrtle Christine. Half siblings include Carl William (1930) and Harry Roosevelt (1932).

At age 8, Florence lost her mother who died 2 Jun 1924 in childbirth at Marsh Harbour, Abaco. 

In March 1932 at Epworth Hall, Ebenezer Methodist Church, Florence married Oliver Stanford Pearce (1903-1979) son of Oliver Herbert Pearce and Clarisa Ophelia Hall.

Their children included Albert, Rollon, Wilton, Charles, Everette Martin (1935) and Barbara.

Florence passed away in 1998 (age 82) in Nassau, New Providence.
