Thomas Wilson Lowe was born on May 1, 1866, in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco to William J ‘Bunkin’ Lowe (1850-1900) and Elwilda Lowe (1840-1942).

His siblings included twins Minerva Beatrice (1870) and Eunice Isabel (1870) and William Irwin (1873).

In July 1889, Thomas married Eliza Matilda Stirrup (1872-1961) daughter of John Stirrup and Sarah Parker.

Their children included Alene (1892), Mizpah ‘Kitty’ (1895), Ella Lee (1897), Thomas Bryan (1898), Pearl Isabell (1902), Eva Vendeline (1905), Ella Louise (1908), Albert Harold (1912), Raymond Wilson (1916).

Thomas Wilson Lowe passed away on September 1, 1943 (age 77) in Boca Grande, Gasparilla Island, Florida.
