Albert Henry ‘Chikki’ Bartlett was born on April 19, 1934, in Nassau, New Providence to Robert Irvin Bartlett (1890-1978) and Lillian Rebecca Burrows (1903-1978).

In November 1953, he married Valeria Deloris Campbell.

Their children included Tyrone, Kim, Gina, Johnny.

He was recognized in the weightlifting and body building community for his early introduction to these hobbies. He was popularly known as Mr. Bahamas because of his muscular physique and encouraged young men to develop their physique.

He was employed by the Civil Aviation department as an air traffic controller from 1954 until his death.

Albert Henry Bartlett passed away on December 3, 1983 (age 49) in Nassau, New Providence.
