James RALPH Roberts was born in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco on February 12, 1872 to Thomas Augustus Roberts (1850-1914) and Jane Elizabeth Roberts (1852?-1900).

On August 23, 1903, he married Lula Louise Sawyer (1885-1935) from Green Turtle Cay, Abaco. She is the daughter of James Bennett ‘Jim Bolton’ Sawyer (1860?-1944) and Eva Edith Lowe (1864-1911).

Ralph Roberts was long time librarian at Green Turtle Cay, Abaco. 

Their children included James Christopher (1905-????), Annie Louise (1907-1970), Albert Walton (1910-1978) and Eva Mae (1919-1997).
