My dad John Wesley Lowe (1925-2013) and Minnie were first cousins born weeks apart on Green Turtle Cay. Dad’s father, Howard Lowe, and Minnie’s mother, Mira Roberts née Lowe, were siblings. Dad and Minnie obviously shared many childhood memories, and he often referred to her as his ‘sister’.
Minnie Caroline Lowe née Roberts passed away on March 13, 2003 (age 87) in Monteverde, Florida and is buried at Hollywood Memorial Gardens. She is my 2nd cousin 1 time removed.
