Mildred Eliza Lowe was born on June 22, 1896, in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco to William Irwin Lowe (1873-1951) and Alice Lowe (1873-1932).

On March 4, 1916, at Green Turtle Cay, Mildred married Ralph Howell Lowe (1985-1960) from Green Turtle Cay, Abaco. He is the son of Gideon Lowe and Esther Ann Lowe.

After Ralph’s death, she married Joseph ‘Joe’ Reginald Curry.

I remember Ms. Mildred fondly. She lived next door to my grandfather Harry after she married the second time to Uncle Joe – my Godfather. Their yards connected. On summer afternoons, they would all sit outside. Ms. Mildred was a jolly, happy person and loved to laugh. I loved her dearly!
Mildred Eliza Lowe passed away in 1978 in Nassau, New Providence and is buried in the Green Turtle Cay Public Cemetery.
