Clarence Gilbert ‘Gibbie’ Roberts was born on June 11, 1917, in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco to Harry Roberts (1892-1976) and Estella Louise Lowe (1895-1927).

In May 1938, Clarence married Eva Mae Roberts (1919-1997) daughter of James Ralph Roberts (1878-1952) and Lula Louise Sawyer (1885-1938).

Gilbert was a policeman, a teacher, a pastor and a construction worker during his career.

Clarence Gilbert ‘Gibbie’ Roberts passed away on March 2, 1994 (age 76) and is buried at the Green Turtle Cay Cemetery.
