Florence GENEVA Lowe was born on March 26, 1899, in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco to Edwin Jerome Lowe (1871-1932) and Alice Missouri Roberts (1878-1946).

In November 1918, Geneva married William HARTLEY Key (1889-1945) from Marsh Harbour, Abaco. He is the son of William Alexander ‘Big Willie’ Key (1868-1949) and Mary Elizabeth Curry (1871-1937). The ceremony was performed by Walter Kendrick.
